Clyde Head 27th November just 2 LLRC members (some had to cancel because of illness) braved the cold, the snow and the ice and competed on the river Clyde. LLRC results  LLRC photos (taken by Martin), all results

   Racing licences
   are due for renewal at the end of December. All LLRC members, please complete an Application form
   and leave it (with a cheque payable to Scottish Rowing) at the clubhouse before 13^th December.
   Notes to Application Form

   The fees for 2010 are £38 for Seniors (over 18), £27 for Students (over 18 but in full time education), £20 for Juniors (under 18) and £8 for cadets (under 14).

   Elaine will send all of them off during the last week in December and they’ll be processed in the first couple of days of the
   New Year.

Concept 2 BRITISH INDOOR ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS - BIRMINGHAM

Allan McGregor rowed in Men 40 - 44 Lwt category and  gained a BRONZE MEDAL out of 17 competitors! He rowed 6:42.8min (nearly the same as last year) over 2000m. Well done Allan!
In the Men Open Lwt he got 13th place out of 21 competitors in 6:49.3min.

Tom Claxton rowed in the Junior 16 category and got 16th place out of 44 competitors, in an excellent time of 6:59.5min.

Martin Claxton rowed in the Men 50 - 54 category and got 29th place out of 36 competitors, in 7:13.5min.

Inverness Fours and Small Boats Head 6+7th Nov.

LLRC juniors went all the way to Inverness to have a race over the 4500m course. For some juniors it was their first race and all of them did realy well. See LLRC results.   all results  Snapper Ron's pictures can be seen on: Sat Div 1

Boston Marathon - Sunday 19th Sept. - Tom and Martin Claxton went down to Boston as the only representatives of Loch Lomond to row a ridiculous distance of 50km, from Lincoln to Boston,  with a very strong cross wind blowing! Tom bettered his time from last year and WON his age group (J16) in 4:14:43 hours and narrowly missed the course record by 5min. Martin was 5th in Vet D1x in 4:51:39 hours. All results

BRITISH ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS were held on 15/16/17 July at Strathclyde Park. Only Tom Claxton entered in OJ15 1x and he had an excellent row in his heat gaining 2nd place in 8:20.06min. In the R1 he got 7th in 8:53.84min. All results
